Jemma James earns Junior Trial

Jemma James has rowed for Baradene for a number of years and in her first year out of school, has chosen to take her sport to the next level, towards her goal of making the NZ Junior Team this year to go to the World’s rowing competition in August 2015.

Today, Jemma’s erg time (7:08) earned her a Junior trial. This is a pretty big deal…in fact it’s SENSATIONAL! It’s the first step on a long journey where nothing is guaranteed, but anything is possible, and it’s an occasion worth celebrating. Congratulations Jemma! We are all very proud of you.
